I have been a photographer for most of my life. Whether I knew it or not is another story. I picked up my first camera at the age of eight - my Mom's Rolleiflex - and became - much to the chagrin of my strict parents - the family voyeur. Often my dad would tell me what I was doing was not proper behavior for a lady. I'd look around to see who he was talking to. I guess you can say I was a bit of a rebel. Of course in those days, they called it being a "Tom Boy." Since then, I've reined myself in and become a bit of an artist and it's truly been magical. I have migrated seamlessly from film to digital over the last 20-ish years and continue my life-long fascination with and love of photography.
INSPIRATIONS
“Light is the chaser away of shadows”. While da Vinci is my main inspiration, others like O'Keeffe, Blossfeldt, and Cunningham are definitely a few I'd love to have conversation with if I could travel back in time.
